Surrendra Gangadean is the pastor of Westminster Fellowship Inc, a small, fundamentalist group comprised mainly of former students from his philosophy classes taught at Paradise Valley Community College (PVCC) and several recruits from Owen Anderson's ASU classes. Gangadean has used his position of authority within PVCC to ensure that his personal sophistry is taught by several members of his church - Kelly Fitzsimmons Burton, Anastasia Campos, Ben Dickerson, Greg Goodrich, Arturo Gastelum, and Keith Makedonsky are just a few examples of PVCC staff members who teach Gangadean's material, and are devoted members of Gangadean's church. If Gangadean's book Philosophical Foundation: A Critical Analysis of Basic Belief is being used as the primary textbook for a PVCC class, you can make a very safe bet that the teacher is a member of Gangadean's church, recruiting perspective members from their respective classrooms.Gangadean's adherents have come under scrutiny for actively and persistently censoring information about Gangadean and his affiliation to his church from multiple internet sites. Naturally, the internet will prevail.

Dr. Owen Anderson is 2nd in command within Surrendra Gangadean's chuch and has been for years. He and his wife are currently going through a divorce. His wife, Sheri Anderson has accused both her husband Dr. Anderson, and Surrendra of "brainwashing" her as well as their children. She has accused her husband, Dr. Anderson of abuse within their marriage and home. When such things happen in our church, percieved offenders, in this case Sheri Anderson, are cut off from their friends and other families within the church by shunning and excommunication. Since maintaining freindships outside Westminter Fellowship can be difficult due to differing beliefs, as well as the secretiveness of our church, the use of shunning and excommunication is usually extremely devistating on the lives of those it's imposed upon. I happen to know this for a fact, because I have had the oppurtunity to to speak with a number of ex members and families who had been excommunicated.

DeleteMy ex has idolised Surrendera since taking his classes at PVCC years ago. It is a scary place, this church, if my ex is an example of what their teachings are.
